By using key generators that are available at free of cost, the developers and software companies are losing out several billion dollars every year. It is basically against the law and is considered unethical. Software piracy has become one of the toughest issues to be resolved. A copyrighted program or application should not be re-produced and used anywhere.

The internet is filled with such key generators and makes it easier to crack the whip. If you have ever used the keygens, then you have put yourself at risk of following unethical ways which are against the law. Using a keygen is of course a bad idea and it has to be stopped by all means. The temptation to get something at free of cost cannot be restricted. One cannot stay away from using the keygens for the entire life time. However, the frequency of using applications can be down sized to a greater extent. China stands first in the list of worst affected countries when it comes to software piracy. The internet users in the emerging countries should be aware of the economic loss to the software companies and should shift their focus to use freeware versions of programs or the licensed versions.
